Wondering a little bit about who OBG is? Here is a quick introduction video that was produced in 2017. Ontario Blind Golf – OBG. 

AMI is a not-for-profit media company that entertains, informs and empowers Canadians who are blind or partially sighted. In 2021 Ontario Blind Golf had a chance to appear on AMI’s Kelly & Company to share some details about some great events OBG had lined up for 2021, including a brand new Youth Initiative. Board members Kostantino Beltsis and Kevin Frost discuss OBG.

CBC News did a story about blind golf that featured some OBG golfers, and had some great information about what the sport of blind golf is all about. CBC News OBG Blind Golf footage.

AMI is a proud supporter of OBG. It shows in their commitment to helping us educate the public and other blind and visually impaired golfers about the sport. AMI’s Chris Vallée did a piece on AMI This Week recently featuring our own Kevin Frost talking about what blind golf is and how it is different than traditional golf. AMI This Week on OBG.

Playing as a blind golfer has many challenges and the best golfers are able to not only overcome them but prove that anything is possible. How about a hole in one? Former OBG President Glenn Babcock does just that!

Many OBG members compete in events across Canada, and around the world. One of those events is the Canadian Open Blind Golf Championships. Here is a short video about 2 blind golfers that participated in the CBGC.

“Blind Golf: Playing by the Rules” is a feature article in Abilities, Canada’s Lifestyle Magazine for people with disabilities. It is a wonderful piece written by Lois Babcock, and shares some fascinating details about the history of blind golf in Canada and the various regional associations.

In May, 2017 OBG hosted a 2-day event in Stittsville, Ontario just SW of Ottawa. It was the first event ever in Ottawa, and it was a great turnout.
